With its departure, Dawnbase will be going into permanent read-only mode and will remain as both an archive of information about Infinite Crisis, and a reminder of the times we all had with the game.

Hats off to you all. It was a pleasure, ladies and gentlemen.

Welcome to my Stargirl Guide!

Introduction

The newest blaster, Stargirl, harasses her foes with her Cosmic Staff, relying on her mobility and gravity manipulation to stay safe.
She excels in her high range abilities and damage output. She is very fun to play... and she makes selfies!

Pros & Cons

Pros
• excellent long range poke
• high damage output
• SELFIE!!!
Cons
• basic abilites are skillshots
• no escape mechanism
• no build-in sustain
• Stargirls Skillset

Cosmic Blast

Stargirl charges her cosmic staff, then unleashes a line of cosmic energy, dealing 60 Power Damage to all enemies struck.

Damage: 60/ 100/ 140/ 180 (+80% Power Damage)
Cooldown: 9/ 8/ 7/ 6 seconds
Cost: 45/ 60/ 75/ 90 Will

This is Stargirls trademark ability and her main tool for farming, the base damage is ok but scales very good into the late game.
Cosmic Blasts has a little charge time, that means you have to time it right. Try to use it when the enemy is performing a basic attacks. Then he cant evade the damage.
• There is a visual hint for the enemy before the spell lands. Take it in mind.
• Try to position yourself to hit minions AND heros, in this order.
• The damage applies a little bit further than the visual effect shows.
Shooting Stars

Stargirl fires a slow Shooting Star at her target, marking them. Then she automatically fires 4 fast Shooting Stars, one every 0.4s, towards the marked target if visible. They deal 30 Power Damage to the first enemy struck.

Damage: 30/ 55/ 80/ 105 (+30% Power Damage)
Cooldown: 12/ 11/ 10/ 9 seconds
Cost: 60/ 80/ 100/ 120 Will

Shootingstars is Stargirls main tool for harrasse in lane and it is even more powerful than her ultimate when every star hits.
The range is very high but easy to dodge when you know how. Targets under Crowd Control are easy targets!
Try to use this before Cosmic Blast to irritate the enemy = more stars are hitting.

Gravity Well

Stargirl tosses a gravity well onto the ground for 4s. Enemies in the area lose 50% Move Speed and take 10% additional damage from all of Stargirl's skills.

Bonus Damage: 10/ 15/ 20/ 25%
Cooldown: 18/ 16/ 14/ 12 seconds
Cost: 85 Will

The area is pretty small but the slow is very strong to evade a gank or set up your skills.
The additional damage scales very good into the lategame.
In Teamfights drop this into the middle of the enemy team and use your other abilities to take down the enemy.

Energy Conversion

Stargirl resets the cooldown of Family Heirlooms and channels at an enemy Champion for 3s. She can move while channeling, but the skill will end if she goes too far. The target is Crippled (cannot use movement skills) and is dealt 200 Power Damage over time.

Stargirl converts 75% of the damage (before armor) into a Shield, up to a maximum of 150, that lasts for 3s after the channel ends.

Damage: 200/ 325/ 450/ 575 (+140% Power Damage)
Cooldown: 120 seconds
Cost: 100 Will

The ultimate of Stargirl, Energy Conversion, is a great ability for duels or deny an escape of an Assassine or Marksman.
Take in mind that when you go too far away from the target OR when the target gets invisible or our of sight the channel is cancelt!
• Batman cant use Martial Arts (W)
• Gaslight Catwoman cant use Predators Grace (R)
• Nightmare Robin cant use Unnatural Reflexes (E) or Feed the Beast (R)
• Atomic Wonder Woman cant use Vault (Q)
• Flash cant use Flash Attack (Q) or Speed Storm (R)

• Mecha Wonder Woman cant use Afterburn (W)
• Gaslight Batman cant use Bat Flight (E)
• Green Arrow cant use Superfoam Arrows (Q)
• Wonder Woman cant use Lasso Grab (Q)

• Robin cant use Vault Kick (Q)
• Sinestro cant use Cull The Weak (E)
• Supergirl cant use Bounding Strike (W) or Comet (R)
The shield is only affected by the amount of Power Damage not by the power armor of the enemy!

Family Heirlooms

Cosmic Blast deals additional Power Damage equal to 2.0% Current Health (+1.5% per 100 Power Damage) over 5s.

If Stargirl takes no damage for 10s, she gains 15 Move Speed until she takes damage.

Damage: 2/ 4/ 6/ 8 % (+1.5% per 100 Power Damage
Move Speed: 15/ 20/ 25/ 30
Cooldown: 10 seconds

Family Heirlooms is a decent passive. The additional Damage over Time has a great synergy with the Cosmic Staff but the damage early is pretty low.
• When the enemy has a current HP from 500 it does only 10 Power Damage over 5 seconds = 2 Power Damage every second.
• The additional Move Speed helps to get back to lane or to gank other lanes.
• The 10 second Cooldown is affected by Cooldown Reduction!
• Skillorder
Starting with Cosmic Blast grants early poke and farm potential.
On level 2 you can choose between Gravity Well which provides a safe counter to a gank and Shooting Stars for more poke damage.
Now you should concentrate on Cosmic Blast and Shooting Stars for you main damage output and max out your ultimate whenever its possible.
Gravity Well and Family Heirlooms should be maxed last, depending on your playstyle.

• Stolen Powers
I recommend a shield stolen power like [[Doomsday's Invulnerability]].

The second stolen power is match dependend/ player dependend.

Common choices are [[Green Arrow's Surveillance Camera]], [[Poison Ivy's Healing Wave]], [[Green Lantern's Meteor Drop]], [[Catwoman's Teleport]] or [[Stargirl's Consume]]

Itemization

Nil Ring
The Nil Ring grants early Will sustain and helps to last hit drones.

Doctor Destinys Dreamstone
The DDD on Tier 2 grants Will regeneration until the late game. Must have!

Cosmic Staff
The Cosmic Staff has a great synergy with Stargirls abilities. Especially with the DoT of her passive. Must have!

Fatalitys Energy Lance
FEL grants massive Power Damage and an additional Damage Active.

Starheart
MORE Damage!!! Must have!

The Book of Eternity
Moderate Power Damage but great late game Power Penetration. Good against Power Armor!

Cosmic Belt
Nice early Damage against squishy targets. Falls off late game

Nerons Contract
Great Choice against heavy Attack Damage Teams

Pandoras Box
Provides from everything a moderate amount plus CC.

Eclipsos Diamond
Good amount of Power Damage and more sustain

Laning Phase
Early Game

Farm and poke. In this order, try not to miss any last hit.
Position yourself to poke with Cosmic Blast or Shooting Stars.
Keep farming and poking to try to bully your opponent out of lane. Get your early items for more Damage.
DO NOT OVEREXTEND unless you know where the enemy jungler is.
Stargirl is very fragile in all stages of the game and we want to keep her safe and farming.

Mid Game

At this time you become a good pusher and lane bully and your damage is high enough to secure kills.
Try to help other lanes with a gank, when your lane is pushed under the enemy tower. With your Ultimate you deny the enemy his gap closer/retreat (See Skillset).
BUT dont forget to look at the minimap to be aware of the enemy jungler!

End Game

Your endgame scaling is hugh and this is your moment. Cosmic Blast can easily two or three hit an fragile enemy and Shooting Stars destroy everthing in their way.
But do not overextend. Stargirls damage is very high but she can be countered by an hard Crowd-Control.
In teamfights be in the rearguard, behind tanks and bruisers. You are no melee hero, you dont need to go up close and personal (perhaps except her ulti). Keep firing abilities like mad and destroy your enemies with you raw cosmic power.
