  • Infinite Crisis has shut down.

With its departure, Dawnbase will be going into permanent read-only mode and will remain as both an archive of information about Infinite Crisis, and a reminder of the times we all had with the game.

Hats off to you all. It was a pleasure, ladies and gentlemen.

Hello again everyone! It is Anth895 here with another guide! This time I will teach you how to play Doomsday. Doomsday is great for new players because his mechanics are pretty simple but he has plenty of room for mastering.

    Skill leveling
I take a level in my E first because it can be great for that level 1 teamfight if you manage to hit an enemy into the wall they will probably die if your team has decent follow up. When I play Doomsday I like to max his E and his W first. These mix very well with the way we are building Doomsday. Maxing Doomsday's E is very useful because it will lower the cooldown while upping the damage. We want our E to be up as much as possible because it can win us 1v1s and be very effective in teamfights. We max our W because we are building Doomsday quite tanky and his W AOE damage scales off health. The fact that the W deals power damage AOE is great as well because no one build power armour against a Doomsday. I max DD's Q last because the damage scaling is really bad and level 1 gives you plenty of clear in the jungle. Of course, you should put a level into Doomsday's ultimate whenever you can.

I start with Marauder's knife T1 and vials and T1 of Lobo's chain because the little bit of sustain you get from the knife and vials will help you to stay in the jungle longer and allow you to have higher health when coming in for ganks. I start with Lobo's because it is an important item on our Doomsday and this way we can get it to T3/T4 earlier. I typically sell my marauder's knife when it would give me enough cash to get the next tier of Lobo's Chain. I want to get Lobo's to T3 before I start on my next item which will usually be Claw of Horus. I want to get Horus to T2 before I move on to the next couple of items. You should purchase either Mirror Master's Prism or Suit of Sorrows next, based on whether you need the extra power armour or attack armour more. I would max both of these and then max my Lobo's Chain and Claw of Horus. The next 2 items are basically personal preference. I like to continue with the tanky build personally with items like Fragment of Mogo(its active syncs really well with your W) and Ruby of Life for the extra health and damage on your W. (If your team already has a pure tank or they are really struggling to deal damage you should get Batman's Belt as the passive skilled attack works really well with Doomsday. A combo for if you are using Batman's Belt would be: E into a squishy - AA - activate W - AA - Q - AA - Q - AA - Q- AA. You could also grab Coda for the extra damage.) At this point I would sell my vials and get Speed Force Battery. This combined with your E can be an amazing engage. You can also use it to blink behind the enemy back line and then E one of their carries into your team.

Your typical jungle strategies will apply. You can check one of the countless guides here for specific information on how to go about jungling. When you are coming in for a gank try to grab a meteor using you super strength. This is because 1) you will deal extra damage due to Supes suepr strength bonus and 2) the knockup followed by and E into a wall along with your lane's damage should get you at least one kill. When in teamfights you should always try to land your E on the enemy carry and try to push them back into your team or a wall. This should result in a kill. Once you do this you want to get right back into the middle of the enemy team. Use this combo when you are there: activate W - AA - Q - AA - Q - AA - Q- AA.

There you go! I hope this guide helps everyone who tries Doomsday and if anyone has any questions leave them in the comments and I will do my best to answer them. See you in-game!
