  • Infinite Crisis has shut down.

With its departure, Dawnbase will be going into permanent read-only mode and will remain as both an archive of information about Infinite Crisis, and a reminder of the times we all had with the game.

Hats off to you all. It was a pleasure, ladies and gentlemen.

    Hey guys, and gals!
This is a general guide for a less burst type of sinestro.

Starting off, you'll want to grab a gambit w/mod, with hawksman's harness, which makes up for the lack of HP on sinestro, and a pandora's box. With Pandora's Box, you'll be able to use yours spells a bit quicker, and also move faster with the move speed.

You'll want to play extra careful playing with this build, and poke with your Scythe, and Saw skills while always watching your positioning. To deal with chasers, you'll want to save the dash to use to escape over cars and walls. You'll be using Dash more as an attack Mid-Late game, or to finish up as a last hit.

When you start to enter the midway phase of the match, you should hopefully have farmed enough minions/kills to be able to purchase some of your core items. At this point, it's up to you if you want to keep the hawksman's harness, or sell it for a completed Pandora's Box, or Star Heart. At this point, you'll have enough power damage to hurt even those with power armor, and have enough slow to escape most ganks with pandora's box's active skill.

After star heart, you'll want to pick up a Blue Scarab with the charged attack modifier. With this, you'll have nice damage on your basic attacks as you kite while they are slowed. Sinestro has some moderate cool downs, so with a modded scarab, you won't have to rely so much on skills being up, and landing them (land your skill shots!!) .This means, if you miss your saw or sycthe skill, you'll still be able to dish out damage with your basic attacks.

The combination between Blue scarab + Eye of Ekron with the empowered mod makes sinestro a true terror. Because of sinestro's long ranged attacks, and high attack speed with the scarab, you'll be able to kite your foes with ease with your 30+ to movespeed(42 if you're like me and use movespeed augments)! Picking up a psi-scimitar will boost your burst, and basic attack damage, comboing nicely with scarab, and ekron. It's at this point that you'll have to choose between using the empowered mod on Psi-Scimitar(50 + 50% Power Damage single target), or on the Eye of Ekron( 50 + 70% Power Damage, splashed).

You could always opt out of the gambit mod and grab the charged attack mod, and both empowered mods for ekron, and scimitar to have all 3.

The way to finish up this build depends more on what is going on during the match. If you're having issues with kiting and not being able to escape, you could pick up a Neron's contract for extra survivability, or opt out of getting a psi-scimitar If you're going up against a tanky team. If that's the case, it would better to pick up a Cosmic staff, or Book of Eternity.

I've had tons of fun messing around with the core items of this build, and i hope you all do too!

Edit: Forgot to mention, if you're not a fan of using teleport as a stolen power, go with sinestro's psychic assault xD
