  • Infinite Crisis has shut down.

With its departure, Dawnbase will be going into permanent read-only mode and will remain as both an archive of information about Infinite Crisis, and a reminder of the times we all had with the game.

Hats off to you all. It was a pleasure, ladies and gentlemen.

    Hi, Guys!

Welcome to my guide for The Flash in the Top Lane. I'm hoping this could be a more collaborative effort. I'm not claiming to be a master Flash player. I've just had some success with him recently and thought it may be a useful thing for some other people learning to play him.

The hardest thing about playing Flash is playing from behind. Like with all assassins being behind can be really frustrating and it is challenging to get back on top. If you get behind early, you may have to play passive in the lane.

    Items:

Coda Blade (3) is a great early penetration item. I tend to go with [[Deathstroke's Claymore (2)]], then Coda Blade (3). Those two items will give you a reasonable amount of damage and allow you to have a good amount of burst.

    Tips:
    1. This is easily the most important tip I have. LOOK AT THE MINIMAP. The Flash has a fair amount of mobility because of his Flash Attack and this will allow you to catch the jungler with low health or even make it down to the mid lane to support your mid laner in securing a kill. Remember to grab the ward if you are in base and try to place it in a defensive position during early game and a more aggressive position in the mid game.

    2.  Don't forget you can use Hyper Vibration to turn Flash Attack into a dash to get through walls. This is great for escapes and for surprise attacks. You would be surprised how many opportunities there are to Flash Attack through the wall and catch someone out.

    3. LOOK AT THE MINIMAP. I know how easy it is to get focused on the lane and not remember about bot lane, but remember you have teleport and if you aren't using it then you are missing an opportunity to get some kills and help put yourself ahead. Support your bot lane if they are getting pushed and put the enemy bot laners on low health it may be worthwhile to TP down to a ward or minion and see if you can't get an assist or kill.

    4. I'm still debating if I think it is worth it to level Hyper Vibration before F=MA. I've done both and I can say I don't notice a phenomenal difference largely because I don't rely on the on-hit that much. I play Flash as an AD caster so the functionality of Hyper Vibration may be worth more to me than F=MA.

This is a work in progress obviously.
