  • Infinite Crisis has shut down.

With its departure, Dawnbase will be going into permanent read-only mode and will remain as both an archive of information about Infinite Crisis, and a reminder of the times we all had with the game.

Hats off to you all. It was a pleasure, ladies and gentlemen.

    Batman Overview

Personally, I think Batman is one of the strongest tops in the game Infintie Crisis right now. He's an extremely strong 1 versus 1 champion that can single out targets extremely well and deal massive amounts of damage. Batman has a rather nice ranged harrass that prevents you from taking damage but you dish out a lot of damage overtime. Batman also has an amazing engage that slows down enemies so you can bring down the PAIN!

    About me, Freakraven! :D

I'm certainly no pro whatsoever, Although I would like to be, But I decided to give a try at a guide about Batman and show people how strong he is. I think he is a great choice for anyone who likes Top lane like me :D He's just amazingly good and pretty easy to learn but very deadly.

    Batman's Abilities

(Passive) Watching, Waiting: This passive is really nice. It's gives batman some sustain early game as over 5 seconds you restore 5% of his max health. The passive itself has a hefty cooldown so try not to leave the stealth pad early. This passive also works with his Ultimate "The Dark Knight"

As you level up this skill here are the effects

    Armor:  5 / 10 / 15 / 20
    Heal:  5% / 7% / 9% / 11%
    Cooldown: 50s / 45s / 40s / 35s

    (Q) Batarang: This is Batman's Q Which is his ranged harrassment. It's range is very helpful and since it's automatic lock-on it will pass through Drone's which is really effective. This can also snipe off low targets if there running away too since Batman is mostly a Melee hero.

As you level up this skill here are the effects

    Damage: 50 / 90 / 130 / 170 + 50% of your Bonus Attack Damage

NOTE: This skill also applies a Mark that can be popped that restores 20 energy to Batman

    (W) Martial Arts: This is Batman's Engage to an opponent. You rush to your opponent and you smack them for a hefty amount of damage and also slow them at the same time which allows for even more damage to be applied. This is a really nice engage because of the slow that essentially just doesn't allow your opponent to escape you.

As you level up this skill here are the effects

    Damage: 65 / 105 / 145 / 165 + 70% of your Bonus Attack Damage
    Cooldown: 10s / 9s / 7s / 6s

    (E) Cape Sweep: Batman sweeps his cape around him and lowers attack speed for four seconds. This skill isn't exactly his best skill as it deals low damage but it really screws up ADC's like Green Arrow or Gaslight Batman
If you don't hit any enemy champions the cooldown is reduced by four seconds

As you level up this skill here are the effects

    Damage: 40 / 75 /110. 145 + 40% of your Bonus Attack Damage
    Attack Speed: 15% / 20% 25% / 30%

    (R) The Dark Knight: This is Batman's Ultimate. You gain 10 Energy persecond, 20% move speed, and 15% attack speed, your passive also activates while in the cloud. Instead of using cooldowns you use Charges that come up after a couple of seconds. Batman's Ultimate is essentially an enormous buff to him and reduces vision to enemy champions. This could be used to save an allly since it reduces vision or maybe team disruption since no one wants to be in this cloud of doom. It's an extremely effective ultimate that has a pretty high skill cap on how you can use it.

As you level up this skill here are the effects.

    Attack Speed: 15% / 20% / 25% / 30%
    Charge Delay: 45/ 40/ 35/ 30

    Item's for Batman

    Starting Items

Nil Cloak : Is a great start for Batman because you can stay in lane for a very long time. As Nil Cloak Reduces the amount of damage you take from Champions and gives you Health Regeneration you'll be in lane for a very long time and you also have your passive for even more sustain!

Modular Health Vial (3) : Sicne Batman does not run off of Will you do not need to worry about picking up Will Pot's thus you can just head straight for Modular Health Vial (3) for extra sustain.

With this set up of starting and your passive you shouldn't be pushed out of lane for a rather long time, maybe unless the Jungler comes to gank and you absouletely need to head back as your far too low to carry on.

    Core Items

[[Huntress' Crossbow (3)]] : I think [[Huntress' Crossbow (3)]] Is an extremely important item on Batman. It's short and sweet but gives him exactly what he needs. It gives him Cooldown Reduction and Attack Damage which is perfect for Batman.

Soultaker Katana (4) : Is a really nice buy for batman as well. The Attack Damage of course is really nice for batman and the Lifesteal will help for survivability. Another thing with [[Soultaker Katana]] is that is passively increases in Attack Damage and Attack Lifesteal when you collect a coin maxing out a 60 stacks. The only downfall is that you lose 50% of your stacks if you die.

[[Ra's al Ghul's Robe]] : This is important on any Hero of course but since Batman Is also somewhat a tank this compliments him rather well. It's gives you both Attack Armor and Power Armor but where it shines is within it's Lazarus Effect which is : If you would fall to 0 Health, you instead gain a shield worth 250 + 85/level, your Attack Armor is set to 45 and your Power Armor is set to 35, and you become Suppressed. If the shield is unbroken after 4s, the remaining shield is converted to Health and you regain 50% Will (4 minute cooldown). Which naturally increases your survivability and effectiveness.

[[Fragment Of Mogo]] : Is just a really good item for becoming Tanky In general as it Provides 200 Health and +50 Attack Armor. The passive is also interesting which is Burning Core : Active to deal 50 Power Damage to all nearby enemies and then, for 15 seconds, deals 30-15 decaying Power Damage per second to enemies nearby (90s cooldown). Extra damage is always welcome in the game of Infinite Crisis :D

[[Lobo's Chain (4)]] : I think [[Lobo's Chain (4)]] Is a great item as it gives you extra tankiness and provides some Attack Damage, which is exactly what Batman needs. The cool passive about [[Lobo's Chain (4)]] Is Attack Harrier which means all of your basic attacks slow your targets movement speed by 30% that decays over 2 seconds which is awesome. Combined with your Martial Arts your target will never escape

    Optional Item's

This is where your final item comes into play assuming that your finally getting to end game and you've sold your Nil Cloak and your Modular Health Vial (3) somewhere along the game. This are a few of the items that I would pick for countering against the current gameplay.

Sword Of Beowulf (3) : This item is most likely the number one item that you should pick. It's provides Attack Damage and Power Armor. Which In this build we are somewhat lacking in the Power Armor Department. Infact I would probably possibly buy this before some other item's as annoying champions will tear straight through you such as Shazam and Joker

Atomic Axe (2) : This is just naturally a great item. Atomic Axe (2) gives 30% Attack Penetration which is stronger then Coda Blade (4) +15 Attack Penetration (Because Cobra isn't a percentage)  That Attack penetration will tear through tanks and squishy people will just become squishier!

[[Cheetah's Claw (4)]] : Isn't a bad item but I don't think its that good. Maybe if it provided Attack Damage it would be more viable but Otherwise I'm not a big fan of [[Cheetah's Claw(4)]] Desperate Speed is kinda nice though so if anything I would possibly try it out and see if you like it or not.

Suit Of Sorrows (4) : I would only take this if SOMEHOW there whole entire team or 4 out of 5 happen to be Attack Damage but that most likely won't happen, who knows.

[[Entropy Of Aegis (4)]] : Even though this Item gives you Will I absouletely love it. That skill block is so amazing and allows you to engage easier without getting hit by a slow or something else that would be extremely disrupting to you.

[[Joe Chill's Revolver (4)]] : Not a bad item at all. I would pick it up if your extremely fed or there just really squishy and can be bursted down really easily, but thats me. You can pick it up if you just want that awesome extra damage.

[[Deathstroke's Claymore (2)]] : This item is a definte high on my optional item list. It's a tank ripper and it gives some really nice Damage for Batman. I would definetly reccomend that you pick this up if you want to make this your final item.

Velocity 9 Implants (4) : This item is actually pretty good for Batman and if you really want those stats and Attack Fervor then for all means go for it. I think its actually not half bad and should be picked up if you really want it.

NOTE: You should pick these items depending on how you want to build your Batman or counter build against the enemy team!

    Stolen Power's

Well there's Multiple things that you can do for Stolen Powers. With so much theres lots of options but here I would like to show my two favorite Stolen Power's

[[Green Arrow's Surveillance Camera]] and [[Catwoman's Teleport]]

With [[Green Arrow's Surveillance Camera]] you can easily counterward your lane as [[Green Arrow's Surveillance Camera]] reveals stealthed units for a few seconds. This also prevents ganks from happening. VISION IS A KEY PART IN IC

I like [[Catwoman's Teleport]] because it allows you to be everywhere and no where (which fits Batman rather well amirite!) The reason to use [[Catwoman's Teleport]] is because the cooldown is shorter then the other versions of Teleport. [[Catwoman's Teleport]] Essentially allows you to split push then simply teleport to a nearby drone around the team fight and clean up or deal massive damage which is always important!

    End

I hope you enjoyed my Batman guide that I will get to eventually updating. Please leave feedback whether it be negative or good. Tell me what you like or don't like, what chapters I need to add and what I need to fix. Thank you for reading and have a good day! Also thank you to the dawnbase database for when I needed to copy down some of the item effects :D
