    First off welcome to my Katana guide for Coast City jungle.

    Abilities priority should be r>q>e>p>w. Gives the most damage and utility

    For items most people choose to go full on damage, but i believe she is best built as the bruiser. Giving you tankyness and the ability to kite in and out of the fight while also doing damage. starting off with Claw of Horus and marauder knife both level 1. The knife is just for a little bit faster of early clear and can be sold at anytime. You can also replace the knife with 2 heath pots instead which is the safest route in your jungle. After the starting items you should go coda 3 into batman utility belt 3 into Claw of Horus and Sword of Beowulf 3. Last 2 items should be Atomic Axe and Ra's Al Ghul's Robe in most cases. axe is for the armor that people will most likely build and the robe is for the little bit extra tank and also you are going to be a decent priority target in fights. This way if you do proc it they have to kill you 2 times while an adc or blaster is free to do more damage.
    Another Build choice is coda 3 into shades cane 3 with the mod on shades cane over claw of horus.

    both stolen powers offer a bit of defense and also to help your team control vision which is the most important thing in the game. Can also choose to go green arrow cams and blue beetle xray for denying vision and a bit of extra gold in your pocket

    item mods are pretty obvious for this build since you are getting all 3 items before anything else.
    augments are for a good amount of damage and also just a little bit extra movement speed to make that target never gets away.

    early game 1-6
    The early parts of the game should be focused on simply harass ganks and farming your jungle to get the ultimate.
    Ganking in the early levels should casting a q before u go in then w to get closer to the target if possible auto attack your target then proc e for the auto attack reset and slow then q and another auto attack if possible. dont force the issue anymore if you will take to much damage back. katanas early ganks can result in a kill but they are most to put pressure on the lane and give your teams lane a easier time.

    mid game 6-13
    At this time you should have a good amount of damage and starting to get tanky as well. This is also where your ganks become more effective with ultimate. do the same thing as early game combo and if u believe a kill will come then ult. during this part of the game make sure to be trying to help cap relays and also securing objectives such as towers and rader.

    late game 13+
    Final part of the game and the most important many team fights and objectives will be taken during this time. your goal in team fights is to annoy the back line and get a kill if possible. how i like to do team fights as Katana is to pressure either the adc or blaster in the back of their team. this is done by doing the combo listed above (also i will post all the possible combos below that are good to use) and using the max use of your high mobility to distract and help pull their carries into bad positions. being a bruiser doesnt mean that you have to go into their back line and just try and get kill although if that is possible and you can still get out with ease go for it.

    Team fights
    I will go more in depth of what i mean by not having just plow your way into their team and hope for a kill. In fights carries usually position themselves to the back. your objective is to get to them and do a combo and then kite then rinse and repeat. If things are starting to look dangerous and you cant kite out use your ult as a defensive this will give a bit of time for your team to help you or for your cooldowns to come up for an escape.

    Most damage combo w>aa>q>aa>e>aa>q if you also use an auto then ult at the end of this it become a great burst tool to kill.
    ranged poke q>q>e

    pretty much covers all the combos to get use to using. At the early stages of playing her u can skip out on the auto attacking to just get use to how the skills work. The auto attacks in between will be the difference from a good Katana to a great one

    Ending notes
    Katanas a fun high mobile hero that gets in and out of fights well. Has a higher skill cap than most heroes but one of the most satisfying when played correctly.
