  • Infinite Crisis has shut down.

With its departure, Dawnbase will be going into permanent read-only mode and will remain as both an archive of information about Infinite Crisis, and a reminder of the times we all had with the game.

Hats off to you all. It was a pleasure, ladies and gentlemen.

The upcoming September Update is set to be a massive content patch which overhauls a lot of the game's content, including large changes to Gotham Divided mechanics, artifacts rebalancing, and responsiveness.

In this article we'll take a look at the changes coming to Gotham Divided.

    Jungle and Base Deployables

Currently on live, when a jungle camp is killed they unlock a deployable back in base for Health or Speed (based on the camp destroyed), and killing both camps of the same type offers an upgraded Tier 2 version of that deployable.

With the September Update, camps now spawn and activate two deployable generators - one at the camp, and one back in base. Simply running over the deployable generator grants that buff in the same way that activating the deployable dispenser works currently. Tier 2 versions of deployables have been removed.

With the update, deployables will also work in a similar fashion to abilities such as Speed Force Battery in that taking damage prevents use of the deployable for a few seconds.

    EMPs and Surveillance Towers

On live, the Raider drops a Surveillance Tower, and the top and bottom Destroyers drop EMPs. With the update, this is reversed.

The Destroyers will now drop Surveillance Towers with reduced range (almost halved), and with a maximum duration of five minutes, instead of lasting indefinitely.

The Raider now spawns an EMP generator at it's camp and at base. The new EMP lasts for five seconds (up from four, no second tier available) and will only take three basic attacks to destroy.

The Speed deployable no longer deals damage to enemy champions struck by deployment, but will apply a 50% slow for three seconds if it lands on one.

Leviathan's Core deployable (the meteor strike) has it's duration halved (five seconds, down from ten) with the damage doubled to compensate (200 true damage per second). It also reduces movespeed of enemies by 35%.

Base cameras now have equivalent range to standard stolen power cameras, and have an initial non stealthed period of two seconds when deployed.

    General adjustments

With the September Update Leviathan is being nerfed: Its armor, health and base attack damage are being reduced, and will now be susceptible to Blinding effects such as Poison Ivy's Blow Kiss.

Drones will now spawn directly at their respective lane dampeners, shortening their time to reach lane. This also means that drones will only defend against incoming waves for their own lane, making it easier for multiple lanes of drones to assault an enemy's core directly.

When leaving base, you'll receive a 45% move speed boost, which fades over six seconds. This aims to help players get back into the action quickly, as well as assisting with base defense.

The update also brings slight timeline changes with regards to spawns:

    00:00 Match Start
    00:30 Drones Spawn
00:50 Large Creature Camps Spawn (Regen / Agile)
01:00 Small Creature Camps Spawn (Tripod / Scrapper / Mauler)
03:00 Destroyer Camps Spawn (Top / Bottom Surveillance Tower spawns)
    05:00 Phase pod impact (Raider)
