  • Infinite Crisis has shut down.

With its departure, Dawnbase will be going into permanent read-only mode and will remain as both an archive of information about Infinite Crisis, and a reminder of the times we all had with the game.

Hats off to you all. It was a pleasure, ladies and gentlemen.

    Hey guys, and gals!
This is a general guide for a tanky Atrocitus with enough damage to not be ignored :]

Starting off you'll want to pick up a crime bible and a two face coin. If you like running gambits, i'd suggest getting the olympus gambit. You'll want to finish the crime bible, and two faced coin as quickly as possible so you can get the best out of using the Overclocked mods on both of them(you'll be getting a stack every 45 seconds).

This build recquires a bit of patience, and knowing how much damage Atrocitus can take. By maxing Overwhleming Rage first, you'll be able to lock down opponents for a good amount of time while allowing your passive to go off with creeps, and champions attacking you(Get at least 1 point in Crimson Slash for the slow, and last hit). To be able to accomplish this you'll need a lot of Health, and a lot of Armor so, maxing crime bible first is really great start for only 1000 gold.

When you start to enter the midway point of the match, you should already be working on making your Rha's Ghul with mod, followed by suit of sorrows and mirror master's depending on the match up, and who is fed on the enemy team. You want to be tanky enough to be able to withstand taking damage from creep waves + champion attacks and their skills.

Every 2 seconds your passive will be going off doing roughly around 90 PD with a maxed coin + lvl 4 passive, so around 180 every 4 seconds. Using come at me while enraged will allow this to happen every .5 seconds instead, meaning a total of 8 times which is roughly around 720 PD damage over 4 seconds.

Using Plasma Wave before unleashing this combo further increases all this damage by 15% for 6 seconds(roughly 825 PD over 4 seconds from just your passive if all 8 hit)

Keep in mind your passive only goes off if you're being attacked by a creep, or champion so, engaging while in the middle of their creep wave is actually something i recommend.

You'll want to finish up this build with a Booster gold's for the extra tankiness + cooldown reduction, followed by either Fragment of Mogo, or Amulet of Isis depending on the match. IF you need a bit more health and extra damage, mogo's 200 hp + 50 attack armor is a nice combination with it's active that does 50 PD + 30-15 dmg over 15 seconds decaying in over time.
If you're having issues catching up, or running away, Isis is the way to go. You won't be using the will regen part of the item, but the 20% movespeed for your whole team is a nice way to initiate, or escape those all important team fights.

If you're doing excepetionally well and are not having any gold issues, you can also opt for more dps over tankiness and grab a starheart. The % boost from starheart + two faced coin synergize really well together.

Your passive with a starheart would be around 109 every 2 seconds, 218 over 4 seconds. With an enraged combo, you'd be doing 872 over 4 seconds with your passive alone. If you were to combo this with your plasma Wave ulti, the damage would be around 1000 PD over 4 seconds.
You could also swap out the Booster gold's for a Cosmic belt for extra damage + PD penetration without losing health.

There are tons of ways to play atrocitus, this is just one of them. I hope you try it out and remove, or add items and make it your own.

I Had tons of fun playing as the Red Lantern, and I hope you do too! xD

Edit: Had some of the numbers wrong at first >_<
