  • Infinite Crisis has shut down.

With its departure, Dawnbase will be going into permanent read-only mode and will remain as both an archive of information about Infinite Crisis, and a reminder of the times we all had with the game.

Hats off to you all. It was a pleasure, ladies and gentlemen.

    Stolen Powers
Woof Woof everybody, Zhyoung91 here. You're probably looking to play Krypto, the super dawg, and have no idea what to build on him or how to level up his skills. I am going to share with you all a build I've had a lot of success with recently. Ill break everything down and tell you what you need to know about him and why I build him the way I do.

Let us start with picking the right stolen powers. This applies to any bot lane scenario. Surveillance Cameras are a must in bot lane!!! At least one of your bot lane people should have cams, if not both. I prefer Robin's cams because you can rotate your vision as you move across the map, without having to go back as often to re-up. The other option is Green arrows cams to clear the enemies'; however, ECM Burst on the item "Mr. Teriffic's T-mask" takes care of clearing wards. We will discuss this item later. For now just get Robin's cams.

Barrier/ Heal. Its debatable which is better. I prefer Doomsday's barrier because it blocks 75 damage, opposed to +50hp heal with additional stats. Something to keep in mind, Barrier often acts as a deterrent, discouraging players from attacking you further. If they do attack you, they are wasting their damage/ their spell cooldowns on your barrier shield. If they don't attack you, it might feel like you wasted your barrier, but the enemy probably let you run to safety, so all is well. If you do run heal to top of you allies in lane, get Krypto's heal because it heals for a comparable 75 hp. Sometimes heal can be more effective in a team fight situation and it is very unlikely that a heal goes wasted, like a barrier at the wrong time does.

    Spell order and augments
Krypto is a controller. He brings to his team great CC, utility spells, and has very high mobility. One weakness in Krypto's kit is that his damage seems low overall; moreover his damaging spells scale poorly with ap. DO NOT build full power damage, you might as well be playing a true blaster like Sinestro who has better power scaling ratios. If you want to do damage on Krypto and fulfill your support role, you just need to do 3 things. A) Power pen/ power damage Augments- early power pen makes your spells hit harder, + extra power damage is all you need to become a damage threat. B) you obviously want to max out your Q. but MOST IMPORTANTLY, max your passive second- The increased root duration will lock down your enemies in team fights longer, the increased shield is always nice to save allies, and the "on the hunt" secondary damage proc off your QE combo does a ton of deeps to enemy champions and minion camps. C) Build Cooldown recuction. More Q's = more slows/ more roots. TLDR. Dont build Power damage, Build Power Pen and CDR then tanky. You can control the map and dish out the deeps too!!!

    Items and Mods
    3 Core items-3 mods
Mr Terrific's T-Mask: This item has good stuff we need: will, a little power damage, power pen, and the only item-active that can clear wards. Add the Empowered mod, and it is the best utility -jungle item which lets us jungle as a controller and kill creeps in lane. Buying this first Makes Krypto very squishy in lane, so be careful. Due to this I sometimes start with either Gorilla Grodd's Helmet tier 2- for early investment(still a squishy item), or Boosters Gold Power suit tier 1 if im going to fight. Max Mr T. item first or second, as it is your main damage item.

Gorilla Grodd's Helmet: Add the 5% cdr mod, good cheap item to get investment, cdr, relilience, and another shield for teammates. Get this item second or third but only to tier 3. Finish Mr Terrifics t mask and Booster Gold power suit before finishing Gorilla Grodds.

Booster Gold Power Suit: Finish this item second after Mr terrifics. Add the 5% cdr mod- you will have 30% cdr with that and grodds. also the HP and armor is great for bot lane. Be a Hero will also be very useful- your partner bot should be throwing bones under their tower if they know whats good for them.

The next item depends on what you need.

Lots of Attack damage on their team? Get METALLO'S HEART which gives Dampening Aura: -20% Attack Speed + your On the Hunt attack speed reduction will be a pain for them. Also gives armor and health, very good. I almost always this as my 4th item. You will be super tanky with max cdr and power pen. GL enemy team.

Still to much attack damage on their team? SUIT OF SORROWS attack reflect.

Need some Power Armor to balance out? Get KRYPTONIAN WAR ARMOR as your 4th or 5th item. All great defensive and utility stats! 20 move speed!! catch me if you can.

Does the enemy team have a ton of power damage? Get either OLYMPUS GAMBIT- to give your allies some power armor too, or ENTROPY AEGIS to skill block heavy hitting skills.

Does your team have lots of power damage? Get OA GAMBIT to boost your teammates power damage skills on enemies.

Can't chase those fuckers down or your teammates sucks at disengaging? Get AMULET OF ISIS for team movement speed.

    Playstyle

I play ham; I like to go ham; ham is what I do. Krypto LOVES ham!!!
